Beachside Gyros

Authentic Greek at the foot of the Eau Gallie Causeway — big lamb gyros, homemade tzatziki, and a table in the sun, one stop before the beach.

Family Greek · on a paper plate

A five-star meal on a paper plate.

No dining room, no frills — a covered stand and a few blue picnic tables in the Causeway Mowers lot, run by Maria, who took the kitchen over from her Uncle Jimmy and kept it honest. This is real Greek food — the lamb carved off the spit, tzatziki made in-house — served fast to people on their way to the water. Humble spot, generous plate.
What to order

Off the spit & out of the fryer

The one to get

Lamb Gyro

Carved lamb, homemade tzatziki, tomato and onion in warm pita — reviewers call it massive. Chicken gyro and souvlaki too.

Greek plates

Moussaka & Salad

Moussaka, a proper Greek salad, spanakopita (spinach pie), and dolmades (stuffed grape leaves).

Loaded

Greek Fries & More

Loaded Greek fries, falafel, plus American turns — Philly cheesesteaks and burgers when you want them.

After

Baklava

Honey-and-walnut baklava to finish, before you walk it off on the sand.

Cash-friendly and budget-priced — the real prices are on the board at the stand.
All things gyro clicked — well made by someone who cares, and it was down the hatch before I got in the ocean five minutes later.
